SmackSoft feat. Han HeeJeong – 마법의 유리병 (Dreamer of Myths) [Hangeul, Romanization & Translation]

smacksoft-bo

Artist and musician Whang Bo Ryung and Smacksoft again, featuring Han HeeJeong on backing vocals – with a dark and moody MV for Dreamer of Myths, from the EP “As If Nothing Ever Happened.” An acoustic style which is quite a bit different from much of the other songs we have heard from her – but quite powerful nonetheless. There’s a rumor she might be bringing the band to NYC next year… 😀

Whang Bo Ryung – Dreamer of Myths

a glass bottle
hidden in the sand
waiting to be free from its spell

priests of darkness, shadows in the fog
grasping, fingerless
throwing the last letter to the ocean

rumors spread insidiously, as you turn your back
losing my desperate love

the hill, almost there but couldn’t reach
endless screaming of her
Time that the ocean swallowed

a glass bottle
hidden in the sand
waiting to be free from under its spell

scent pungent in the air
memories are opened, finally
wild wind staggers up the hill

wandering soul, broken promises
mocking silence, reckless nostalgia
dried petal, blackened leaf
fallen branch

a lost, empty bottle

a glass bottle
hidden in the sand
waiting to be free from under its spell
