Peppermoon – 쁘아쁘 (Ppeu A Ppeu) lyrics {I Need A Romance 3 OST} [French, Hangeul, Romanization & Translation]

The first French song ever featured here! I thought Peppermoon is a K-Indie band and only after I searched for the lyrics that I knew they’re a French pop duo. Peppermoon is formed by Pierre Faa and Iris Koshlev in Paris, in 2006. Even though they gain popularity in Eastern countries such as Taiwan, Japan, China and South Korea, their non-mainstream genre does not attract the French market. I think that’s quite a common case for many bands that choose to pursue a non-mainstream genre. They might gain support from overseas fan base yet receive very little from their own home :/ It’d be nice if we try to explore our local music scene as well, and give them the necessary support! 🙂

I tried my best to translate the lyrics to English – I hope I got it right! If you’re a French native speaker, don’t hesitate to correct any mistakes found! Thank you 😀

Peppermoon - Peu A Peu Lyrics (I Need Romance 3 OST)

Peppermoon – Peu à peu (쁘아쁘/Ppeu A Ppeu/Gradually)

French

J’ai une fleur chez moi
Qui pousse qui pousse
Sans l’arroser vraiment
En douce en douce
Inexorablement
Elle pousse elle pousse
Et son parfum me prend

Je ne la voyais pas
D’abord d’abord

Amoureux
Peu à peu je me prends au jeu
Peu à peu comme un envoûtement
À deux
Oui un jour
On se dit le prince charmant
Fait partie de ma vie depuis long temps
On y pense on rêve on sourit
on est partis pour croire en la magie
Oh on est partis partis partis loin

Et peu à peu comme en camaïeu
Peu à peu dans un frémissement
J’ai ouvert les yeux
Finalement
Peu à peu je me prends au jeu
Peu à peu comme un envoûtement
Je veux Cet amant
Peu à peu comme un camaïeu
Peu à peu

English

I have a flower at home
That grows, that grows
Without being really watered
Fresh, fresh
inevitably
It grows, it grows
And its scent takes me

I can’t see it
At first, at first
Because she takes her time
She goes, she goes
A little hesitant
To the edge, to the edge
Of my feelings

And one day,
I can’t pretend it any longer
When little things get bigger
The roots are being soundless
Every little thing that binds me to her
Oh, all those little, little things
And gradually, like a shade
Little by little, a slow white morning
Turns into a disarming blue

Gradually, I find myself in the game
Gradually and very innocently
I wish for this lover
Gradually, like a shade
Gradually, unconciously
Like two magnets
In love
Gradually, I find myself in the game
Gradually, like a spell
Into two
Yes, one day
I’ll tell about the Prince Charming
He is a part of my life for long time
We thought, we dreamed and we laughed
We left for our belief magically
So we were gone, gone, gone far away

Gradually, like a shade
Gradually, into a quiver
I open my eyes
Eventually
Gradually, I find myself in the game
Gradually, like a spell
I wish for this lover
Gradually, like a shade
Gradually
