K-POP is truly one of the biggest passions in my life! I started listening to the music in 2007 and truly enchanted by the talents :) This blog was started in 2008 for 2 main reasons:(1) I was trying to find a song lyric and only 1 blog in the entire Google had it! So my thought at that moment was I should share my passion on Korean music even more! (2) A good pastime after my high school graduation while waiting for college to begin soon :p

Some of my favorite musicians/singers are Dong Bang Shin Gi (동 방 신 기) , BEAST, U-KISS, Clazziquai (클래지콰이), Ibadi (이바디) Alex Chu (알렉스), Epik High (에픽하이), SHINee (샤이니), C.N Blue, Big Bang, Winterplay, W & Whale, Nell and many more!

I am a full supporter of many K-POP Idol groups, but I am a big fan of Korean indie/underground bands as well! :) So if I find any lyrics from their songs, I will post it here to share the love and passion for their music :D

I really appreciate and feel thankful for every single comment that has been posted, including all corrections to the mistakes made in my posts  :) Thank you for your supports!!

    for Alex’s songs, I think you can download them in various webs: esnips.com, imeem.com, 4shared.com, and also soompi forums.
    I usually get the songs from them.
    U need to sign up as a member in order to be able to download the songs =)

And its since 2008 – in fact I make one too recently! but its not dedicated to korean lyrics like u, its more personal like a diary and contains the stories that I make (cerpen begitulah hehe).. See u around :D ! And only korean? not interested in Japanese lyrics :D !

    • Hi Mika! :) thanks for visiting my blog ^^
      I can only read the Korean alphabets [hangeul], and I took the translation and/or the Hangeul part of every song here from someone’s else web or a forum, surely with proper credits :)
      but I don’t really understand the exact translation of those words [the explanation on why the translations that I did were soo weird ;p]

      I found that Hangeul is like Latin alphabets where they have A,B,C etc. so it was easier for me to learn this language, with having a guide on the characters [you can get it from internet, just type it in Google/Google Image]. Setting up this blog is actually very effective to enhance the learning process, because by doing the ‘song lyrics project’, I won’t forget what I have learned! :)

Becouse ever since i’ve watched the korean novela ‘Enless love Winter sonata” i become an avid viewers of korean novela specialy love drama,and now I’m starting to love listening korean love song.     I’m from the Philippines and wanna thank you for providing the lyrics of the songs from My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho. The TV series was so cool that I just can’t help but need to know the lyrics of the songs. Now I’m planning to study Korean Language. I think that their language is quite interesting. Can you give some suggestion on where to start? Should I learn their alphabet first?

      I am not fluent in Korean language either! xP I learn how to read Korean alphabets from the Internet, and practicing by romanizing Korean songs :)
      Korean alphabets are pretty easy to be learned ^^~
      I learn simple phrases from songs or TV shows, but I think if you really wanna be fluent in the language, I recommend you go to a proper language course to help you with the grammar & daily conversation :)

    it’s will help any other people who doesn’t understand english will understand that meaning

  35. hi! its great to see someone who listens to both mainstream (idol kpop) and also appreciate the music from indie bands. I personally love Winterplay and Urban Zakapa too! Raspberry Field is another one I listen to! Hope you spread more love for these singers and bands!(:
    If you don’t mind I would really be grateful if you can do more translations from singers like Younha, 4men, BES, Lyn etc. Im sure you will agree with me that these are great singers too!

    Hehe it’s okay! I’m happy that we can share information about korean music & dramas :)

    I have yet to watch all the dramas though I posted their OST lyrics here :p
    My friends recommend me a lot of dramas that they have watched ~ or I just give it a try and see whether I’ll like it or not :p though I don’t really watch dramas that have more than 20 episodes or saeguk (historical) dramas :)

    I’ve heard about “High Kick” but I have yet to watch it. Thank you for the recommendation! :)

    I mean it’s indie music so i didn’t expect there is translation version of it.

    I think you even know more Korean music than me despite I’m Korean. hahaha
    And Do you know 장기하와 얼굴들(Jang Gi-ha and faces)? That’s one of my favorite indie band. Try it. haha Or you already knew them.

      Glad that you can find Nell’s song lyrics here :D the lyrics are not translated by me, they are taken from other sources with proper credit to the translators (I guess the translators are Koreans ;) ).

      Oh I have yet to hear about them! I am currently exploring K-Indie music scene as good bands/singers keep popping everywhere :D

  56. Hi, I’ve been listening to k-pop for more than a decade now and I don’t know anyone who would be at least a bit interested in anything korean. It’s good to find your blog.

    Thank you for the lyrics for Untouchable songs. They are a bit hard to translate since they don’t use proper language. :/
    I’ll check the other lyrics too since I listen to almost the same list of bands as you.
    I hope to find more people to share this interest with.

    • I like indie musicians a lot ~ they’re just as talented as the musicians under big labels! :) Aside from the bands/singers’ works that I have posted here, in my list there are Peterpan Complex, J Rabbit, Rossy PP (Rossy Punky Perfume), Coffee Boy, Romantic Punch, Monni, Blue Muffin… My adventure on K-Indie land hasn’t end yet! :p
